about

'Tamu', a Swahili word meaning 'sweet one' is a compilation of South African jazz quartet/quintet recordings between 1990 and the year 2000. Tracks were recorded in Johannesburg, further post produced in London and then mastered by Adam Ayan in Portland, Maine. A limited edition of 1000 copies was printed at the Sony plant in Austria.
